In the event Wörthersee, Volkswagen showed a new concept car Sport Golf GTE that is equipped with a hybrid power plant.

Volkswagen Golf GTE Sport is made in the body 3-door hatchback. Moreover, it is almost entirely made of carbon fiber. Novelty has a fairly aggressive design and roll-up doors.

Volkswagen engineers have equipped the concept 4-cylindrowym turbocharged TSI engine capacity of 1.6 liters, two electric motors and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The combined impact of the power plant is 395 HP and 670 nm.

The latter ensures acceleration to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, to 200 km/h sprint in 15,9 seconds. Top speed is 280 km/h. When you activate eco mode, fuel consumption is about 2 liters per 100 kilometers.
