In the spring of this year, the Englishman Robert Llewellyn decided to check how much it will cost to ride from the Norwegian capital Oslo in the English metropolis – London. For this purpose he took the electric car Tesla Model S P85.
The journey would be a rather big – 2106 km by road from six countries: Norway, Sweden, Germany, Holland, Belgium and the UK. To overcome this distance Robert took just over two days and recharging the batteries of an electric vehicle will cost just €5.
The trip from Oslo to London (2,1 thousand kilometers) on electric car cost just €5
We will note, owners of Tesla electric cars can charge the batteries on the company’s stations Supercharged absolutely for free. They had four of the five charges during the trip. Another time I had to charge the battery of the electric car in a German hotel. It was here and had to pay €5.
Note, the electric car Tesla Model S P85 is equipped with motor, 416 HP for maximum torque of 600 Nm. Machine total weight 2.5 t can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 km/h. the Motor is powered by lithium-ion battery capacity of 85 kWh. Maximum cruising range on one charge can reach 502 km
The process of recharging is possible in three ways. The fastest and most convenient – branded stations Tesla Supercharges: for everything takes 20 to 30 minutes. You can also use the network to 380 V with a current not less than 32A then charging will take 3 to 4 hours. And at worst fit a normal network 220. However, in this case to feed you will need from 20 to 30 hours.
