EVX Australian company has developed electric sports car The Immortus (lat. immortal), batteries which is powered by solar panels. The size of the solar panels is 7 square meters.

The official debut sports electric car-The Immortus to be held at the SEMA tuning show in November. Overall length of the electric vehicle is 5 meters, width 2 meters and height of 1.1 meters. The wheelbase is 2.5 m. In the cabin The Immortus can accommodate two people. In addition, inside the electric car has a place for a small amount of Luggage.

In the movement of The Immortus is provided by means of a pair of electric motors with a total power of 40 kW (54 HP). To 100 km/h electric car accelerates in less than 7 seconds and its maximum speed reaches 150 km/h. Maximum cruising machine with regard to solar and battery power 10 kWh is 550 kilometers at an average speed of 85 km/h. In this case exclusively due to the energy of a solar-electric car can move with a speed about 60 km/h.
