Electric vehicles give preference to an increasing number of people. So, following the results of January-June 2015 sales of cars with zero harmful emissions have risen globally by 50%. Especially notable was China, where the implementation of such vehicles increased by 175%, did not disappoint and Europe with a growth of 78%, according to the publication auto center.

In just the first half all over the world were sold 204 255 EVS. The ranking of the most popular models looks like this: Nissan Leaf – 25 068 PCs (12% of the market), Tesla Model S – 21 552 PCs (11% of the market), the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV – 17 104. (8%), BYD Qin – 477 PCs 16 (8%), BMW i3 – 10 554. (5%), Renault Zoe – 8 528. (4%), Volkswagen e-Golf – 7 150 (4%), the Volkswagen Golf GTE – 604 6. (3%), Chevrolet Volt – 6 PCs 362 (3%), BAIC E-Series EV – 803 5. (3%).

For selected countries (first half): Norway – 17 thousand, great Britain – 14 thousand, France – 12 thousand, the Netherlands – 12 thousand, Germany – 10 thousand Very good growth from Renault Zoe, which took first place in sales in June. The French approached the sales creatively – they sell only the car itself, and the battery lease. Due to this, the starting price of purchase is considerably lower.

Let us mention also the country with the highest electricity shares in sales of new cars: Norway – 23,22% (14,49% a year ago), the Netherlands – 5,94% (4,58%), United States, California, 2.8 per cent (3.2 per cent), Hong Kong – of 2.58% (0,46%), Sweden – 2,16% (1,52%), Iceland amounted to 2.04% (2,71%), Switzerland – 1,42% (0,75%), Denmark – 1,24% (0,88%), France – 1,19% (0,91%)UK – 1,01% (0,56%).
